The season has come to an end and the mobile shop will be closed until next Spring. A huge THANK YOU to all who visited.

The Craft Fair season on the mainland starts with the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair, Manchester, next weekend, 13-16 October. And I will post soon where I will be going in November.

The BAKKA van, my mobile shop in Lerwick, is receiving many compliments, as much for the concept - go where the people are, don't wait for them to come to you - as for the quality of the fitting out. It's so encouraging! and I thank everyone wholeheartedly for their support.

The van is open in Lerwick several days a week, so if you see the flags out, please do stop and say hello, I'd love to meet you.

BAKKA is not attending either Top Drawer or Scotland's Trade Fair this year. The new dates of both events do not work with the timing of lambing here in Shetland. Any prospective retailer is invited to contact Mary directly by email, mary@bakkaknitwear.com. Thank you for your understanding.
